Dear Editor,

I would like to publicly thank Mr. Robert Lee, owner of Rockingham Guns and Ammo, for hosting a free class for women only on June 2.

The class was to teach the proper way to handle a revolver. Being the owner of a revolver, but never using it, this was a perfect opportunity for me to learn. Now, I would not hesitate to use it if I was ever threatened.

Also, he taught a valuable lesson on safety and security. I would recommend this class to any woman that is scared to handle a revolver.

Thank you again, Mr. Lee.

I don't know if Seaweeded was trying to make fun of Mr Lee or not but I must say that I think,

Mr Lee has his heart in the right place.I also was in his class,he was very kind to all of us.

He explained things in a manner that we all could undersdand.

I also know of other things that Mr Lee has done for the people of Richmond Co. In the past he has given his time to teach children about firearm saftey.

In past years he collected toys for the 2nd Marine

Div. wounded Marines children, and he asked for nothing in return.

He has also collected money, food and clothing for the needy that live in this county.

He also started Richmond Countys Landlord's Ass.

I am also a member of that group it has been a great help to the landlords in the county.

Mr Lee is a good and kind man and if there was a vote for "citizen of the year" he would get mine.

I think there are a lot of people in the county that feel the same as I do.

I think the people of Rockingham could learn a lot

from this man on how to treat people of all races.

He treat's all people with respect.

I am not a stone,I am a human being with fellings.

You have hurt me, for your few words have cut deeper into my soul than any blade could have.

You have taken my good deed's and tryed to turn them into a joke.

I feel sorry for you.

What would you have me do with my knowledge and abilitys?

Would you have me do nothing and let my abilitys go to waste?

All I tryed to do was be a good citizen and help these lady's.

I never asked for anything in return, nor do I want anything.

WOW! I had no idea that a simple, quick compliment would be taken so derogatory! I was merely recognizing the fact that your name kept coming up in community events! I do apolagize if I offended you... that was not my intentions!!!

Apology accepted,Now I must apologize. When I first read your comments I did take it as a compliment.

But later that day I did have several people call and come by and gave there comments on your reply to the lady's letter. They felt like you had made a derogtary and sarcastic comment with the way you started the note (Geez) I now know they were wrong, and I thank you.
