Amy Elizabeth Smith of Rockingham and Joshua Lee Horton of McColl, S.C., announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride elect is a 2008 graduate of Jesus Is Lord Christian School and a 2011 graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina in Pembroke. She is currently employed with Richmond County Schools. Amy is the daughter of Larry and Robyn Smith of Rockingham.
The groom-elect is a 2004 graduate of Marlboro County High School and a 2007 graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College with an Associates Degree in Computer Networking. He is currently employed with Time Warner Cable in Rockingham. He is the son of Carla Horton of McColl, S.C., and Jimmy Horton of Florence, S.C.
A 6 p.m. wedding is planned for July 21, 2012, in Laurinburg.
