Roy Shepard Jr. and Frances Dobbins Shepard quietly celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 29, 2012, at Rockingham Manor.
They were married June 29, 1952, at Roberdell Methodist Parsonage.
The couple had three daughters, Gladys Shepard of Rockingham, Angela Szpatura of Annapolis, Md., and the late Rachel Fisher.
