Mrs. Sarah Shaw Gulledge, 91, 180 Battley Dairy Road, Hamlet, died , Friday, May 7, 2010, at her residence.

She was born August 14, 1918, in Richmond County, daughter of Colon Shaw and Mary Byrd Shaw.

Mrs. Gulledge was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Hamlet.

Visitation will be Monday, May 10, 2010, from 10-11 a.m., at Calvary Baptist Church with the Funeral beginning at 11 a.m. with Rev. Scott Conner and Rev. Eugene McNair officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, John H. Gulledge; son, George Colon Hattrich; and sisters, Crystal Quinn and Jackie McNamaria.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Jackie Hattrich, St. Petersburg, FL, which has been her caregiver; brother-in-law, John Case, Hamlet; granddaughter, Susan Wilson, St. Petersburg, FL; grandson, Mark Anthony Hattrich of Matthews, NC; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in her memory to Calvary Baptist Church, 406 McDonald Avenue, Hamlet, NC 28345
