The Rockingham Police Department recently arrested Stacey Lee Cockman, 34, of 210 County Home Road, Rockingham, on charges of possession with the intent to sell marijuana, manufacturing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a residence to sell marijuana.
According to authorities, on Aug. 22, 2012, the Rockingham Police Department Vice/Narcotics Division received an anonymous tip that Cockman was growing marijuana at the listed residence. After making contact with the owner of the residence, the Vice/Narcotics Division discovered approximately 17 suspected marijuana plants as well as a sophisticated grow setup including lights, fans, and filtration units.
In total, 636 grams of suspected marijuana was seized with a tax value of $3,000, police said.
Cockman was placed in the Richmond County Jail on Aug. 23 under a $10,000 secure bond, according to the jail.
