Rockingham Police Department arrests for Dec. 8, 2012

The Rockingham Police Department recently made the following arrests:

• Bryant Shauntel Harrington, 33, of 193 Crest Way Drive, Rockingham, was arrested for aiding and abetting. He was released on his own recognizance to appear in court.

• John Howard Joseph, 51, of 1220 Old Wire Road, Bennettsville, S.C., was arrested for second degree trespassing. He was placed in Richmond County Jail under a $500 secure bond.

• Daniel Lopez Legrand, 32, of 166 Isom Nichols Road, Rockingham, was arrested for possessing stolen goods/property. He was released on his own recognizance to appear in court.

• Paul Montez Williams, 33, of 871 Rockingham Road, Rockingham, was arrested for the conspiracy of robbery, robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault inflicting serious bodily injury. He was placed in Richmond County Jail under a $50,000 secure bond.

• Jose Angel Valerio, 35, of 106 Goodman St., Rockingham, was arrested for assault inflicting serious injury. He was confined in Richmond County Jail. No bond has been issued.

• Dexter Bernardski Wall, 25, of 1226 Cauthen Drive, Rockingham, was arrested for robbery with a dangerous weapon and communicating threats. He was placed in Richmond County Jail under a $25,000 bond.

Other recent reports to the Rockingham Police Department include:

• Larceny and resisting a public officer was reported at a business on Highway 74.

• A dog bite was reported at a residence on North Lee Street.

• Animal cruelty was reported at a residence on Steele Street.

• Armed robbery and assault by pointing a gun was reported at a business on South Long Drive.

• Animal cruelty was reported at residence on Leak Street.

• Counterfeit currency was reported at a business on East Broad Avenue.
