Dear Editor,

His name is Yeshau, Joshua, Iesus or Jesus. Yeshua is the Lord’s Hebrew name. Iesus is Greek translation of Hebrew name and Jesus is English translation of Greek. The same name meaning, “Salvation.” Angels said, “Call his name Jesus for he will save his people from their sins.” Those that receive him, call him Savior.

Four gospels inspired and accurate. All reveal who Jesus is, how he came, what he taught, how he lived what he achieved, what he is doing now in heaven and he is coming again to finish his mission.

The gospel of Matthew informs us Jesus is king of the Jews. From Abraham through King David to his mother, Mary.

The gospel of Mark emphasizes Jesus is a servant, “came to minister, and to give his life for many.”

Gospel of Luke explains, “The son of man is come to seek and save that which was lost.”

The gospel of John declares Jesus is God in the flesh. John writes, “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.” Jesus is declared as God. “If God is holy, all powerful, loving, faithful, merciful, infinite, so is the word.

The day after Thanksgiving most Christians will begin to celebrate the incarnation of the son of God. That means the eternal word of God took on human form and became perfect humanity. His name is Jesus (Savior), because he came to pay a debt he did not owe, because we owed a debt we could not pay.

The baby in the manger in Bethlehem stable is one and the same as the one who spoke the world into existence. What grace is this?

I pray our God, Father, son and Holy Spirit will bless us and give us victory through all the events we must pass as we move toward the end of 2012.
