Dear Editor,
I am writing with concern to the stoplights on Long Drive and Rockingham Road. Also the light near the hospital. When one light is green, the other light is red. Traffic is backed up both ways. Also on Rockingham Road, in the right turn lane there is a sign that says “No Turn On Red.” But no one seems to pay any attention to it, so this causes problems too.
Enough is enough. Something needs to be done before someone gets hurt.
There’s also a problem turning off of Rockingham road to the left, too. D.O.T., you need to check these lights out during hours besides 7 a.m.- 2 p.m. before it is too late.
