Mr. Mitchell Colie Player, 52, of 111 Hinson Court, Rockingham, died, Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.
He was born March 26, 1960, in Richmond County, son of Bernie Player and Elma Rogers Player.
Mr. Player previously worked for Southern Bag as a fork lift operator, before his declining health.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 2, 2012, at The Family Home, 137 Vine Drive, Hamlet, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Johnny Johnson and Rev. Randy Brooks officiating.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Nicholas Player;
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Ann Boone Player of the home; son, Kenneth Graham and wife Beth of Rockingham; grandchildren, Leanna and Jessica Graham & Jonathan and Dalton Fields; two great-grandchildren; sister, Diane King of Rockingham; and three brothers.
