On Aug. 4, Clarelisa “Cee Cee” McPhatter was crowned the Little Queen for the 29th District Order of the Eastern Star. The district’s annual pageant was held at the Highland in Laurinburg. Cee Cee represented the Palestine Chapter 79 OES in Hamlet, where her grandmother, Cora Davis, is the Worthy Matron. Cee Cee is six years old and attends Washington Park Elementary School in Laurinburg. She is the daughter of Clarence and Lisa McPhatter.
