Megan Lee McLain of Thomasville, and Benjamin Keith Croke of Rockingham, were united in marriage June 23, 2012, at Memorial United Methodist Church, Thomasville.

The Rev. Rodney Denton officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony. Wedding Soloist was Beth Mills. Organist was Adam Ward.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Cindy McLain of Thomasville. She is the granddaughter of David and Glenda Turner of Thomasville, and Nancy and the late JC McLain, Thomasville.

The groom is the son of Crystal Turnage Crouch of Rockingham, and Keith Croke of Ellerbe. He is the grandson of Thomas M. Turnage and the late Hannah Ellis Turnage of Snow Hill, and the late Joe and Ruby Croke of Rockingham.

Escorted by her father Bill McLain, the bride was attended by Blaire Smith of Greensboro, as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Amy Millard of Smithfield, Caroline Byrd of Raleigh, Carmen Chamberlain of Rural Hall, Chelsea Turner of Thomasville, and Katey Gutowski of Clayton.

The groom chose Jason Hatcher of Wichita, Kansas, to serve as best man.

Groomsmen were Keith Croke of Ellerbe, Ronnie Crouch of Rockingham, Jacob Turnage of Snow Hill, Kevin Oldham of Rockingham, and Justin Dawkins of Hamlet.

Cash Mills served as ring bearer.

Riley Howell served as flower girl.

A Bridal Luncheon was held Friday, June 22, 2012, at the home of David and Glenda Turner, grandmother and grandfather of the bride.

The rehearsal dinner, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Crouch, was held at Colonial Country Club on the eve of the wedding.

The reception was held at Colonial Country Club following the wedding and hosted by the bride’s parents. The bride is a 2006 graduate of East Davidson High School, Thomasville, and a 2010 graduate from East Carolina University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. She is employed as a first grade teacher at Thomasville Primary School.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Richmond Senior High School. He has served six years with the United States Air Force. He is also a 2010 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. He is currently employed with the Winson-Salem Police Dept.

Following a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Winston-Salem.
