Louise Harper Partin, 96, of Raleigh, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012.

Funeral Service was held 11 a.m. Monday in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Montlawn Memorial Park. The family received friends at Montlawn Funeral Home one hour prior to the service Monday.

A native of Johnston County, Louise was born April 25, 1916, the daughter of the late Ophelia Boykin and George Washington Harper. She was a longtime member of Carolina Pines Baptist Church, an accomplished seamstress and gardener and enjoyed cooking for her family, friends and neighbors.

Louise is survived by her sons, Ronald Partin and his wife Mollie of Rockingham, Phil Partin and his wife Susan of Garner, Jerry Partin and his wife, Kim Dunlap of Fort Collins, CO; daughter, Brenda Hill and her husband Steve of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jacky Partin and his wife Kim, Kim O’Neal and her husband Jack, Matthew Partin and his wife Jessica, Jennifer Young and her husband Brandon, Brandon Hill and his wife Karen, Marshall Hill and his wife Elizabeth and Kimani Partin as well as 11 great grandchildren. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Aldridge Partin.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the members of the MSU Team at Unihealth of Raleigh.
