There is a diet for food addiction and it is based on the fact that most food addictions come from the brain. Sadly, many have blamed themselves for not being able to stop eating and this this creates guilt. There has been an increase in the numbers of people who are simply unable to control their appetite, it is a crisis in much of the West. Researchers have revealed a diet for food addiction that as been shown to stop the cravings.

An addiction to eating is real

Science has discovered that an inability to control the appetite may be a real addiction. For many years this was denied by health officials but not anymore. Due to brain scans and imaging teachnogy it is clear that overeating is something that starts within the brain. It is the same as with any other addictions. A person who cannot control the appetite has to eat but it does not mean that they will neccessarrily gorge themselves all day. It can mean that they cannot stop nibbling even when they are not hungry.

Blame

The blame has always been put on th overeater. The failed "will power" appraoch has caused more problems and pain for the person with a problem controlling the appetite. Often the person who has a problem with food will blame themselves for not having enough will power. This can cause more guilt and even depression. A diet for food addiction based on how the brain creates addictions has been shown to help people control the appetite, this was revealed in Europe .
