Tammy Legrand and Kelvin York
Tammy Denise Legrand of Rockingham and Kelvin Lamont York of Hamlet announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Michael and Rev. Bula Legrand of Rockingham. She is a 1993 graduate of Richmond Senior High School and a 1997 graduate of Sandhills Community College with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Administration. She is currently employed with Richmond County Department of Social Services.
The groom-elect is a 1990 graduate of Richmond Senior High School. He is currently employed with Richmond County Schools and Burlington Industries. He is the son of Donelle and Dorothy Quick of Hamlet.
A 3 p.m. wedding is planned for Aug. 11, 2012, at Ashley Chapel AME Zion Church in Rockingham.
