Dear Editor,
The third grade students and teachers at L.J. Bell Elementary School would like to express our appreciation to the Rotary Club for our dictionaries. Each student received his own dictionary. It will be a valuable resource for the students to use this year and in the future. With an increased focus on vocabulary, students will be using it often.
Excitement came over the students as they received the dictionaries. They immediately began looking through the book. Students found that it contains many more resources than just words and definitions. Since we are studying the solar system now, they were especially excited to find facts about the solar system. Once again, we extend thanks to the Rotary Club for its generous donation.
