LILESVILLE — Mr. Kevin Lindsey Griggs, 29, of 55 Power Plant Rd., Lilesville died Tuesday, June 16th at Anson Community Hospital in Wadesboro.

He was born November 16, 1979 in Richmond County, a son of Ronald Griggs and Denise Speight Griggs Phillips.

Funeral services will be conducted noon Saturday, June 20, 2009 in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Mitchell Roller officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at 104 Hidden Knoll Circle, Rockingham.

Surviving are his parents, Ronald Griggs of Rockingham and Denise Speight Phillips of Lilesville; a sister, Stephanie Williams of Lilesville; and maternal grandfather, Brady Speight of Rockingham. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Griggs.
