Ernest Johnson and Mary Marsh of Rockingham were married at 4 p.m. on July 29, 2012, at Touch of Grace, where the couple said Jesus joined them together.
Mary is the daughter of the late Henry Nevitt Terry and the late Jessie Mae Simms Terry.
Ernest is the son of the late Marie Jackson Johnson and the late Henry Franklin Johnson.
During the ceremony, the bride was given away by her brother, David Terry.
The Matron of Honor was Mary Walters, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids included the bride’s daughter, Sue Rogers, her niece Rebecca Terry, a sister Juanita Knight and Gloria Broom, best friend of the bride.
The groom chose David Guinn as his best man.
A reception followed at the church given by John and Vicky Daniels.
The couple currently resides in Rockingham.
