Jean Parker “Jeannie” Stutts, 64, of Lenoir, formerly of Richmond County, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, Forlines Patient Care Unit in Hudson, NC.
Jeannie was born September 4, 1948 in Buncombe County, NC, a daughter of the late Robert Vance and Juanita Searcy Parker. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe and a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Michael F. Stutts of the home and her son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Melissa Stutts of Lenoir.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in Eastside Cemetery, Rockingham, with Rev. Bill Monroe officiating.
The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
