The third largest donation for the 2011 “Bouncing Baby Bottle” campaign came from Pine Grove Baptist Church. Hope’s Doorway, Pee Dee Crisis Pregnancy Center, had a wonderful outpouring of support for its second annual 2011 “Bouncing Baby Bottle” campaign.
The BBB campaign is an opportunity for churches and organizations to donate by putting money into baby bottles that are returned to the center.
The PDCPC is a growing community of individuals who have heard Jesus’ call to follow Him by caring for His people, and who honor His commandment to love one another, say center leaders. The center offers comfort to women and men if they are bringing a new life into this world and are confused about an unexpected pregnancy or are in need of special love. If they are searching for a new and more productive life for themselves, counseling is provided. If they carry the pain of an abortion, Christ’s healing and forgiveness is shared, according to center staff.
PDCPC is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. Some of the other services provided include free pregnancy testing, information on pregnancy, alternatives to abortion, information concerning medical care, community services, adoption services, and post abortion counseling. Maternity and baby clothes are also offered as available along with a new born baby layette bag.
