The Hamlet City Council will hold a public hearing next week on a rezoning matter to solicit citizen comment.
The rezoning petition has been filed by Al and Barbara McCormick for a property located at 1723 E. Highway 74, lot number three.
The request is to rezone the parcel of land from General Business to Residential-Agriculture.
The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers of Hamlet City Hall, 201 Main St., Hamlet, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
All interested citizens are encouraged to attend this public hearing.
