Norman Brewer and Annie Brock Brewer of Sanford, formerly of Rockingham, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their son, Adam Brock Kirkley to Marcella Theresa Gutierrez of Raleigh, formerly of Jacksonville, Fla.
The bride elect is the daughter of Hernan and Jessica Gutierrez of Citrus Springs, Fla. She is a 2003 graduate of Lecanto High School and a 2007 graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Criminology and Political Science. She is currently employed with State Farm Insurance.
The groom elect is the grandson of Ben Brock Jr. of Rockingham and the late Vera Kirk Brock of Rockingham. He is a 2001 graduate of Richmond Senior High School and a 2006 graduate of N.C. State University with a degree in Spanish Language and Literature. He is currently employed with Wake County Schools.
A 5 p.m. wedding is planned for August 11, 2012, at Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen.
