Miss Moore County Summer Hennings will have the honor of crowning the 2013 Miss Moore County on March 9, 2013, at the Aberdeen Elementary School Auditorium.

Miss Moore County Scholarship pageant is seeking young women ages 13 to 24 to participate in this year’s pageant. The deadline for contestants is Feb. 10, 2013.

Cathy Davis, Miss Moore County’s executive director, has been working very hard to give the program a strong foundation for young women of Moore, Richmond, Lee, Montgomery, Randolph, Hoke and Scotland Counties.

For years girls living in Moore County were only eligible to compete in the Miss Moore County Scholarship Pageant, however the pageant has recently been able to include young women from the six other counties as well.

“Miss Moore County is another wonderful opportunity in our area for young women to become involved in their communities, service organizations and the Miss America Program,” said Davis.

For more information visit www.missmoorecounty.com or email Cathy Davis at missmoorecounty@yahoo.com.

Miss Moore County is also seeking young ladies ages 3 to 12 years old to participate in Miss Moore County’s Outstanding Little Miss pageant. All information for this pageant is also available on the website www.missmoorecounty.com.
