The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Nora Brower and John W. Gay of Rockingham and the late Bettie Brower Allen of Lilesville.
The groom elect is the son of the late Katherine Paul and Reid H. Whittington of Asheboro.
A 2 p.m. wedding is planned for May 5, 2012, at Shining Light Free Will Baptist Church of Rockingham.
