Free screening of "Shrek the Third" at Cole Plaza tonight.
Tonight, Alltel Wireless is scheduled to host a free movie night under the stars in downtown Rockingham.
The event was postponed from a previous date because of rain, and Alltel spokesperson Liz Rogers hopes bad weather won’t cause yet another delay.
“We’re still scheduled to show the movie Tuesday night,” said Rogers.
A screening of “Shrek the Third” will be held at 8:30 p.m. at Cole Plaza in Rockingham; this is the same location that Plaza Jams are held, adjacent to City Hall.
Bring the kids, blankets or lawn chairs and some snacks, and settle in for some good family fun. There will also be T-shirt give-aways while supplies last.
“This is just our way of giving back to the community with a free, family event,” said Rogers.
