Fireworks were great

It was a great year for fireworks, with perfect weather and no disruptive viewers. The 15 minutes of fireworks in Cheraw on July 2 were the loudest, the 20 minutes show in Ellerbe on July 3 were beautiful and colorful, but the ones in Hamlet on the 4th were by far the best, especially with the three to four mini-finales during the 25 minute presentation.

The towns of Cheraw and Hamlet and the Ellerbe Lions Club are to be commended for doing a wonderful job. Thanks for a memorable weekend.

Why was Lydia Sides of Mangum letter not posted on the web site for comment? I can't remember you ever forgetting to post a letter from Wheeler on the blog!
