Edna Lavern Diggs McLean, 60, of Rockingham died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012.
A funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, Rockingham. Pastor and eulogist will be Reverend Dr. Lamont J. Johnson Sr. Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery, Rockingham.
Public viewing will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, at Nelson Funeral Home, 1021 E. Washington St., Rockingham.
Edna was the daughter of the late Earl L. Diggs Sr. and Jannie M. Diggs.
Survivors include mother Jannie; three children, Vernon McLaurin Jr. of Inez, Ky., Kijafa McDaniel of Laurinburg, Kari Littlejohn of Cary; five siblings Earl Diggs, Jenella Turman, Sharon McBride, Melba Howell, Cedric Diggs and five grandchildren.
Nelson Funeral Service in Rockingham, is assisting the family.
