Mrs. Doris Skaggs, 69, of Rockingham, died Saturday, March 10, 2012, at her daughter’s home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 16 at Roberdel Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at 715 Deweese Ave., Rockingham.

Doris was born Jan. 14, 1943, in Houston, Texas, a daughter of the late Jack and Imogene Hankins.

She is survived by her children; Sonya Covaleski, Rhonda Nelson, and Christopher Hankins, all of Rockingham; and four grandchildren.
