GREENSBORO — Former Richmond Senior High School offensive lineman Charles Crank participated in Wednesday night’s North Carolina Coaches Association East-West football game.
Crank, a member of the East team, helped his team to a 6-0 victory at Grimsley’s Jamieson Stadium.
The East scored the game’s lone touchdown when former Chapel Hill star Steven Moore scored from five yards out in the fourth quarter. Moore was named the game’s offensive most valuable player.
On the defensive side of the ball, former Jack Britt defensive back Jerrod White earned defensive MVP by registering five tackles and an interception.
According to Richmond Senior coach Paul Hoggard, the East coaching staff was impressed with Crank’s performance in the victory.
Crank plans to attend West Hills Community College in Coalinga, Calif. in the fall.
