Catherine “Cathy” Treece Butler, 57, of 107 Clover Hill Road, Ellerbe, died Thursday, July 12, 2012, as a result of an automobile accident.
A funeral will be held Tuesday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at Outreach for Jesus with Rev. Dennis Smith and Bishop Marvin Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Monday, July 16, at Outreach For Jesus from 6 to 8 p.m.
At other times the family will be at the home of her daughter, Brandie Price, 2 Pinecrest Drive, Hamlet.
Cathy was born Jan. 12, 1955, in Florida, daughter of James Everett Treece and Odessa Brigman Treece. She was a homemaker and attended Good News Free Will Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Butler; her father, James Treece; and a sister, Carol Treece Platt.
Survivors include her mother, Odessa B. Treece of Ellerbe; daughters, Brandie B. Pryce and Holly B. Voorhees, both of Hamlet; brothers, Jimmy Treece of Hamlet and Michael Treece of Ellerbe; and four grandchildren.
Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Butler Family.
