DORAVILLE, Ga. — Jamell Brown improved to 8-1 in his boxing career following an unanimous decision against Florida’s Pablo Felix to win the title in the 138-pound division at the Paul Murphy World Title Belt Tournament in Doraville, Ga. last weekend.
“I want to thank God, the community, my sponsors and my coaches,” said Brown, a member of The Dungeon Boxing Club in Rockingham. “I still have a lot of work to do.”
The event included boxers from around the world and featured 99 bouts on the final day in three rings.
