Bang Thammavongsa, 89, of Rockingham, matriarch of the Thammavongsa family, died Thursday, July 12, 2012, at her home.
A traditional Buddhist Blessing will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham and the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
The Farewell Ceremony will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham.
She was born Feb. 1, 1923, in Ventiane, Laos.
She is survived by her children, Kham, Joy, Bruce, Air, Noi, and Ki; and seven grandchildren.
