Give the gift of life at the FirstHealth Center for Health and Fitness in Rockingham.
The American Red Cross is asking for donations from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday. All blood types are needed every day. Donors are asked to bring a photo ID.
A second blood drive will be held at Richmond Community College on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. To make an appointment contact timh@richmondcc.edu.

If you are eligible, you are encouraged to double the impact of your donation by giving two pints of red cells through double red cell donation.
The American Red Cross is entering all donors presenting between July 1 and Sept. 30 the chance to register to win a $3,000 gift card (with the drawing to be held in October 2012). All donors will receive a $5 gift card to the Richmond Memorial Hospital cafeteria or Gift Shop. FirstHealth employee donors may also register to win area gift cards and FirstHealth logo items.
