Rockingham, NC 28379 (910) 331-1464 www.rcfaithacademy.com Dear Friend: Richmond County Faith Academy is reaching out to the businesses, churches and citizens of Richmond and surrounding counties for help with our facility, students and afterschool activities. Writing this letter is very humbling but with so many needs we are overwhelmed and feel that reaching out to our community could assist us in helping children in our community. This coming school year will be our 3rd year in operation and look forward to a successful upcoming year. In the last two years we have had 35 students graduate with a High School diploma and served over 60 students in school. Many of these students had dropped out of school, given up on their education or felt displaced in the public school setting. Out of 35 graduates at least 26 of the students are in college and successfully fulfilling their dreams. We have had 15 students baptized and many lives changed. We also host teen night for all teens in Richmond and surrounding counties one night a week during the school year. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights we offer our facility to Young Champions of America a non-profit organization for cheerleading, gymnastics, karate, and dance with over 50 students attending one of the activities. With so many troubled teens in our community we need your help. Many students often fall into hardships and are unable to pay their monthly tuition, with your help they can continue their desire to get their education and strengthen their relationship with God. Whether you can help with a monetary donation, donate items needed, volunteer or simply come out and let our kids hear your testimony or just tell them you care, YOU are needed. We are reaching out to you from our hearts and hope that you will not sit this letter down and forget about us and our wonderful students.
