HAMLET — A man is accused of stealing guns and other goods from a Hamlet home while the owner was away.

Dustin Wayne Coble, 24, was arrested Tuesday and placed in the Richmond County Detention Center under a $7,500 secured bond.

Police investigators were working on a felony larceny case that occurred Aug. 5 at a on Hamlet Avenue home. Several guns and items of value were taken while the owner was away from the home for several days.

Hamlet detectives located Coble on Tuesday morning and charged him with one count of felony larceny and two counts of larceny of a firearm. Most of the items stolen from the home have been recovered, according to police.
