ROCKINGHAM — A man and woman are accused of breaking two windows at the Sunset Motel on U.S. 74, according to court records.

James Russell Wadsworth, 17, of 703 Richmond Road Extension northeast of Rockingham, and Ciara Webb, 20, of 128 Roslyn Road south of Rockingham, each face a misdemeanor charge of causing injury to real property.

Arrest warrants state that Wadsworth and Webb broke two glass pane windows and the glass window on a fire extinguisher wall mount at the 314 U.S. 74 West motel on Monday. The value of the shattered windows is not specified.

Becky Faulkner of the Sunset Motel is listed as the complainant on charging documents for both defendants, indicating that police did not investigate the allegations.

Wadsworth was arrested Monday and jailed on a $500 secured bond. Webb was picked up the following day and released on a $500 unsecured appearance bond, according to court documents.
