ROCKINGHAM — Police arrested two men on marijuana charges in a Tuesday raid at a city home.

Cassan Chambers, 36, of 101 Safie Fifth St., Rockingham, and Rodney Rorie, 35, of Rockingham, were taken into custody after police executed a search warrant at 223 Eastside Drive, a Rockingham Police Department spokesman said.

Police said they seized an undisclosed amount of packaged marijuana during the search. The police Special Weapons and Tactics team entered the home to serve the high-risk search warrant. Chambers and Rorie were arrested without incident.

Each man is charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for storage of controlled substances. Police did not say whether anything was seized from the home during the search.

Chambers was booked into the Richmond County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond. Rorie’s bond also was set at $5,000.
