ROCKINGHAM — Two teens are facing a trio of charges for stealing firearms, according to Richmond County sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies say David Jesse Powell, 17, of Caroline Street and Dillon Dontae Brayboy, 18, of Hickory Street broke into a home on Sandhill Road and stole three handguns June 17.

The pair was arrested June 19 and each teen was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and larceny of a firearm and jailed under a $25,000 secured bond.

Court records show Brayboy is also facing charges of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods or property in a separate case. —William R. Toler
