ROCKINGHAM — A city man is accused of exposing himself to a woman on Saturday.
Kenneth Jerome Teal, 57, of 142 Forrest St., faces a charge of misdemeanor indecent exposure. An arrest warrant states that Teal exposed his genitals to the woman on Broadway Street.
The complainant gave verbal testimony to a Richmond County magistrate who filed the charge against Teal. Police did not investigate the allegation.
Teal has past criminal convictions of driving while impaired, public drunkenness, misdemeanor breaking and entering and driving while license revoked, according to N.C. Division of Adult Correction records. DWI convictions and traffic offenses earned him a permanent driver license revocation.
Most recently, Teal had received probation for an April 2011 conviction of Level III driving while impaired.
He also has pending marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia charges in Richmond County District Court.
Teal was arrested on Saturday and released after posting a $500 secured bond. He’s due in court on the indecent exposure charge June 26.
