Prizes will be awarded to winners, thanks to the generosity of Richmond County government and the Richmond County Animal Shelter.
There will be a cash prize to the winner and there is no cost to enter.
“We expect this to be a lot of fun, and hope that people participate,” said Kevin Spradlin, editor and content manager with The Richmond County Daily Journal. “Based on feedback generated from recent animal-related coverage, it’s clear that people’s pets mean an awful lot to them. So get out your cameras and take some photos.”
And, of course, Spradlin and those employed with Richmond County government and the Richmond County Animal Shelter are encouraging everyone to start entering their pets in the contest Tuesday and then visit the website to peruse the competition.
