PINEHURST — Robert Andrew “Andy” Bibey has joined FirstHealth Neurosurgery as a certified physician assistant.

He is a December 2015 graduate of Campbell University in Buies Creek, where he received his master of physician assistant degree.

A native of Moore County, Bibey also has a bachelor of science degree in exercise sports science from East Carolina University and an associate degree in nuclear medicine technology from Pitt Community College.

Before receiving his physician assistant degree, he was an exercise physiologist with FirstHealth Fitness and a nuclear medicine technologist with FirstHealth of the Carolinas, both in Pinehurst.

He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.

The specialists at FirstHealth Neurosurgery, which is located at 10 Aviemore Drive in Pinehurst, treat a variety of diagnoses, including cervical and lumbar disc disease, spinal stenosis, brain tumors, carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy and spinal fractures.
