Richmond County sheriff’s deputies arrested Corey William Byrd, 29, on April 3 for being in possession of materials used to cook meth and having possession of meth.


The Rockingham resident was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession precursor, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Byrd was arrested at his residence and placed in Richmond County Jail under a $50,000 secure bond. Byrd was also arrested for failure to appear in court.


Long arrested for meth


Ronald Issac Long, 49, was arrested on April 7 by Richmond County sheriff’s deputies for being in possession of materials used to cook meth and having possession of meth.


Long was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession precursor, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.


The Rockingham man was arrested at his residence and confined to Richmond County Jail under a $40,000 secure bond.


Norman man charged for gun possession


Richmond County sheriff’s deputies arrested Riley Abe Robinson, 31, on April 3 for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.


The County Line Road resident was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.


Robinson was arrested and detained in Richmond County Jail on a $10,000 secure bond.
