Richmond County sheriff’s deputies on Monday arrested Dominique Rashad Little, 23, and Willie Cornelius Calhoun, 24, after a three-month undercover investigation. The investigation netted over 100 grams of crack cocaine and 10 grams of marijuana.


Little and Calhoun, both of Rockingham, were both charged with six counts of trafficking in cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to sell and distribute cocaine, two counts of selling and delivering cocaine, possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.


Both men were arrested and placed in Richmond County Jail. Calhoun was held on a $100,000 secure bond and Little was held on a $255,000 secure bond.


Hamlet man arrested for selling cocaine


Richmond County sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday arrested Dustin Jay McCary, 21, for selling cocaine.


The Hamlet resident was charged with selling and delivering cocaine.


McCary was arrested and released on a $2,500 unsecure bond.


Honeycutt jailed for meth charges


Jedediah Benjamin Honeycutt, 24, of Hamlet, was arrested on Tuesday by Richmond County sheriff’s deputies for selling methamphetamine in Rockingham on two different occasions.


Honeycutt was charged with two counts of selling methamphetamine, two counts of possession with intent to sell and distribute methamphetamine, two counts of maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and selling a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.


Honeycutt was arrested and confined to Richmond County Jail on a $100,000 secure bond.


Man charged with selling prescription meds


Jimmy Allison Horne Jr., 39, was arrested on Wednesday by Richmond County sheriff’s deputies for selling prescription medication.


Horne, of East Rockingham, was charged with selling and delivering a scheduled II narcotic, possession with intent to sell and distribute a scheduled II narcotic and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.


The Rockingham resident was arrested and held in Richmond County Jail on a $10,000 secure bond.
