On March 10, Richmond County sheriff’s deputies arrested 19-year-old Megan Victoria Cagle, of Billy Covington Road, for selling and having possession of LSD.


The Rockingham woman was charged with selling and delivering LSD, possession with intent to sell and distribute a Schedule 1 narcotic and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance.


Cagle was placed in Richmond County Jail under a $10,000 secure bond.


Rockingham man charged for selling meth


Sidney Russel Currie Sr., 52, was arrested by Richmond County Sheriff’s deputies on March 10 for selling and having possession of methamphetamine.


Currie, Sandy Ridge Church Road, was charged with selling and delivering methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and distribute methamphetamine and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance.


Currie is confined in Richmond County Jail under a $50,000 secure bond.


Hamlet man arrested in Boone


On Feb. 22, the Boone Police Department arrested Phillip Allen McGee on warrants for the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. McGee had been wanted by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office since July 2013.


McGee, a Jefferson Street resident, was arrested and charged with selling and delivering methamphetamine and possession with intent to sell and distribute methamphetamine.


McGee was arrested and held under a $43,500 secure bond.


Ingram charged with two counts of selling cocaine


Stacey Milton Ingram, 50, was arrested on March 18 by Richmond County sheriff’s deputies for selling cocaine on two different occasions.


The Rockingham man was arrested and charged with two counts of selling and delivering cocaine and two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine.


Ingram was placed on a $5,000 unsecure bond.


Hamlet resident arrested for cocaine


Richmond County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenneth Blaine Chavis, 49, on March 11 after a traffic stop and seized cocaine from his vehicle.


Chavis, of Battley Dairy Road, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine and maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance.


Chavis is being held in Richmond County Jail under a $15,000 secure bond.
