SOUTHERN PINES — Nearly three years after Rashawn Shaw was shot and killed at an apartment complex, police have made a murder arrest in the 28-year-old’s death.

Antonio Jamal Brown, 30, of Raeford, was arrested Friday in the June 26, 2012 killing, Southern Pines police Capt. Charles Campbell said in a statement.

Officers responded to a shots-fired call at the Brookside Park Apartments on Shaw Avenue and found Rashawn Shaw’s body, Campbell said. Brown was later identified as a suspect in the killing.
