ROCKINGHAM — As part of his commitment to providing exceptional and easy-to-access constituent service, Congressman Robert Pittenger, R-Charlotte, has launched regular, weekly office hours in Rockingham, according to a statement released Tuesday.

“My team and I are committed to truly serving Rockingham and Richmond County,” Pittenger said in a statement. “We will do all we can to help resolve issues involving Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans benefits, IRS, passports, USDA, and other federal agencies.”

Pittenger’s Rockingham office is located inside Rockingham City Hall, 514 Rockingham Road and a staff member will be available each Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. through noon.

“We will return your call, or better yet, meet with you in person during our regular, weekly Rockingham office hours,” the Congressman said. “Please come say hello!”

If those hours aren’t convenient, staff members will be available Monday through Thursday at Pittenger’s Monroe regional office — 100 West Jefferson St., Suite 1-A — or constituents may call 704-917-9573 to make other arrangements.

Congressman Pittenger’s Rockingham office will be managed by Graham Long, “a veteran Congressional staffer with a heart for service who has extensive experience cutting through red tape involving Social Security, Medicare and other federal agencies,” according to a statement.

Long may be reached at 704-917-9573 or [email protected].
