ANNUAL DOWNTOWN SIDEWALK SALE AND CIRCUS in downtown Southern Pines from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shoppers can find deals in the downtown Southern Pines stores. The Broad Street sidewalks and surrounding blocks will transform into an all-American summer carnival with clowns, games, photo booths and other attractions as if under a circus big top. July 12

FUNDRAISER FOR KALLEN HEATH will take place from noon to 7 p.m. at Ellerbe Lions Club Park, 306 Millstone Road, Ellerbe. There will be a bounce house, water slide, silent auction from noon to 4 p.m., ice cream by The Berry Patch, face painting for the kids and Jacked Up Hot Rod Band will perform from 3 to 6 p.m. There will also be hot dog plates, barbecue sandwich plates and a raffle for two Carolina Panthers tickets with the drawing being held at 6 p.m.

SISTER 2 SISTER STRAIGHT TALK, a support group for women of all ages, will meet from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Impact of Faith Deliverance Ministry, 431 Fairley St., Laurinburg.
