Carli Louise Thomas and Austin Davis Hough were united in marriage Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Crestview Baptist Church in Rockingham at 4 p.m. The Rev. Robert Stewart performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clay and Donna Thomas of Ellerbe. She is the granddaughter of Charlotte and Haywood Grant of Ellerbe and the late Clatis Thomas and the late Wyman Thomas.

The groom is the son of Angie and Kenny Rush of Seven Lakes and Albert and Connie Hough of Holly Springs. He is the grandson of Denny and Betty Dennis of Exway and the late Peggy Hough and the late Albert Hough.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless lace wedding dress, embroidered lace and tulle over memory taffeta soft mermaid wedding dress with a deep sweetheart neckline that featured a hand-beaded illusion modesty piece, delicately beaded and embroidered lace bodice with dropped waistline. Matching beaded lace appliqués spill down gathered tulle skirt to chapel length train, detachable spaghetti and halter straps included. She carried a bouquet of green and white hydrangeas and peonies.

Lexi Jo Grant of Ellerbe was the maid of honor. Katelyn M. Yarborough of Laurel Hill was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Taylor of Hamlet and Wendi Clewis of Ellerbe. Emma Talley of Ellerbe served as flower girl.

The groom chose his brother, Andrew Hough of San Diego, as best man. Ushers included Andrew Hough, Albert Hough, Kenny Rush and Damon Talley. Noah Quick of Rockingham served as the ring bearer.

Duncan Grant served as greeter for the occasion, photography was provided by Flashback Photography and the event was catered by T’s Southern Occasions. Special thanks to Neal Grant for providing and hosting the dinner party.

After a honeymoon to Blue Ridge, Georgia, the couple will reside in Ellerbe.
