Shavaysia Beard, senior, wins 2017 Superintendent’s Christmas Card Art Contest


Christine Carroll | Daily Journal The Richmond County Board of Education honored senior Shavayshia Beard on Thursday for rendering the Christmas card it and Superintendent Cindy Goodman will send out this year. Beard, a senior at Richmond Senior High School, drew a Christmas stocking stuffed with sweets and a teddy bear. Division winners in the districtwide contest were Hannah Smith, fifth grade, L.J.
