Providence Missionary Baptist Church to host annual Women in White program Sunday

SPRING HILL WESLEYAN CHURCH, located off N.C. 38 on Spring Hill Church Road, Hamlet, will have its country breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. on July 1. Price is $6 for all-you-can-eat. Carry out plates are available. Funds raised will go for future projects, missions and those in need.

SUNDAY

ST. LUKE NO. 2 FREE WILL BAPTIST CHURCH, 119 Morrow St., Hamlet, Pastor Darrell McSween will preach for the 10:30 a.m. morning service on July 2. The public is invited to come out and enjoy praise and worship service.

FREEDOM MINISTRIES NO. 1 will host the United Pastors’ Fellowship quarterly services at 4 p.m. on July 2.

ST. JOHN MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH will be having a appreciation service for the mother of the church, Dorothy Evans at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker for the afternoon will be Pastor Galley Quick of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, along with her congregation and choir. All are invited.

NEW BETHEL AME ZION CHURCH, Dobbins Heights, will giving the pastor, the Rev. Javan Leach, a farewell appreciation service starting at 11 a.m. Morning worship speaker will be Apostle Brenda Ferebee from Trusting in Jesus, Dobbins Heights. Speaker for the 3:30 p.m. service will be the Rev. Kelvin Freeman of Hunter’s Chapel AME Zion Church in Laurinburg.

NEW LIFE CHURCHES OF DELIVERANCE, 410 Third St., Hamlet, will begin its annual revival with homecoming at 4 p.m. Revival will continue July 5-7 at 7:30 p.m. with Elder Burt of Beginning a New Life Outreach Ministry of Cheraw, South Carolina.

MARSTON FIRST MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 220 Stroman Road, invites everyone to a pastoral anniversary service. The Rev. Dr. Keefe Howell will render morning worship service at 11 a.m., with dinner to be served afterwards, followed by Apostle Marvin Leak, of Sound Doctrine Fellowship of Rockingham, rendering a service at 3 p.m.

FREEDOM BAPTIST CHURCH will host an ice cream social and cookout at 6 p.m.
