GUATEMALA MISSION TRIP YARD SALE will be from 7 a.m. to noon at Roberdel Baptist Church, 1118 Richmond Road, Rockingham. There will be a pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. for $3 per plate, a church volleyball tournament and hotdogs and hamburgers for sale for $5 per plate from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

STOP THE VIOLENCE MARCH will begin at the Circle B convenience store on Earl Franklin Drive at 10 a.m. and end at Dobbins Heights Park, followed by speakers, entertainment and food. For more information, call Varneice Morrison at 910-318-9151 or Sherria Barnes at 910-434-2258.

COMMUNITY FUN DAY, sponsored by The Village Project Education Program, will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at Memorial Park in Hamlet with free food, activities and more.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST to support the Richmond County Diamondbacks travel baseball team will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. at Fatz for $7 per plate.

June 26

THIRD ANNUAL ULTIMATE WORKOUT, hosted by First Health Fitness, will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and is free to all members and a small fee to non-members. It will include five or six short workouts from all instructors. Waters and snacks will be supplied. Classes include Body Pump, step, kickboxing, toning/strength, core and yoga.

June 27

THE HAMLET HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1959 will meet for lunch at Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q in Rockingham at noon.

AMVETS POST 316 will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the East Rockingham Fire Department.

July 4

HAMLET’S ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY FESTIVITIES will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on W. Main St. in downtown Hamlet. There will be food from the Richmond County Rescue Squad, as well as Twisted Treats and Kona Ice providing sweet treats. There will also be a children’s and adult’s watermelon eating contest and pub trivia in Main Street park.

July 5

THE ROHANEN HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1959 will meet for lunch at noon at #1 Diner in Rockingham.

July 10

BURLINGTON INDUSTRIES RETIREMENT will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Holiday Restaurant.

THE EAST ROCKINGHAM MEN’S CLUB will meet 7:00 p.m. at the East Rockingham Fire Department, 487 Airport road Rockingham. Visitors and new members welcome.
